Our team is led by the esteemed Miguel Duarte, a lifelong equestrian enthusiast whose expertise spans a wide array of disciplines. With years of experience gained both internationally and in the United States, where he pioneered traditional Portuguese shows in Las Vegas, Miguel is a sought-after trainer renowned for his exceptional skills and dedication to horses.

Joining Miguel is Michelle Du Plessis, whose passion and commitment to equine welfare form the cornerstone of QPM's ethos. With a rich background in training and riding gained from her time in South Africa, Dubai and Portugal. Michelle excels in starting young horses on the ground and under saddle, as well as finishing them for pleasure, endurance, or show jumping. Her impressive achievements include competing in 3 Star FEI events in Dubai.

Complementing our team are Simone Martins and Matilde Antonio, both esteemed instructors and tour guides with extensive experience in training and mentoring riders of all levels. Simone brings over 15 years of expertise in producing young horses for show jumping, dressage, and eventing, as well as completing a course in hippotherapy.

Matilde has received training from industry-leading professionals, honing her skills to perfection. Now, her true passion lies in nurturing and imparting her expertise to the next generation of equestrians, with a special focus on young children. Through her exceptional patience and kindness, she guides these young riders, shaping them into future equestrian athletes. Matilde's dedication to cultivating talent and instilling a love for horsemanship ensures that each child receives the care and support they need to thrive in the equestrian world
